- 1X2
- A bet on whether the home team wins (1), the match ends in a draw (X), or the away team wins (2).
- Accumulator
- A single bet that links multiple selections; all must win for the bet to pay out, and winnings roll over from one selection to the next.
- American Odds
- Odds displayed as a positive or negative number; positive shows profit on a $100 bet, negative shows amount needed to win $100.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap given to each team to level the match, eliminating the draw and offering two possible outcomes.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money set aside for betting, separate from everyday finances.
- Bet Builder
- A tool that lets you combine multiple markets from a single match into one custom bet.
- Both Teams To Score (BTTS)
- A bet on whether both sides will find the net at least once during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature allowing you to settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Decimal Odds
- Odds expressed as a single number that includes the stake; multiply your stake by this number to calculate total payout.
- Deposit Limit
- A tool to set a maximum amount you can deposit into your account within a chosen period, helping manage spending.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet that eliminates the draw outcome, so you win if your chosen team wins and get your stake back if the match ends in a draw.
- Fractional Odds
- Odds shown as a fraction; the numerator indicates profit relative to the denominator (stake).
- Free Bet
- A no-cost bet credited by a sportsbook, usually with terms attached; any winnings can be withdrawn after meeting requirements.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing bets on a match while it is ongoing, with odds that update as the game progresses.
- Margin
- The sportsbook’s built-in advantage, often expressed as a percentage, ensuring they profit over the long term.
- Moneyline
- A straightforward bet on which team will win the match, with odds reflecting the perceived chance of each outcome.
- Odds Boost
- A promotion that increases the odds on a specific selection, offering a larger potential payout.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals scored in a match will be more or less than a set number.
- Parlay
- Similar to an accumulator, a parlay combines two or more bets into one, with all selections required to win for a payout.
- Self-Exclusion
- A voluntary option to block access to your betting account for a set period, aiding control over gambling habits.
- Surebet
- A situation where odds on all possible outcomes guarantee a profit regardless of the result, often found across different bookmakers.
- Unit
- A standard measure of bet size, often a fixed percentage or amount of your bankroll.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, suggesting an edge.
- Vigorish
- The commission or fee a sportsbook charges for taking a bet, built into the odds.
- Wagering Requirement
- The number of times you must bet a bonus or free bet amount before withdrawing related winnings.
